Singapore–Day 2 SAFRA Climbing Wall

We headed over the SAFRA Yishun Country Club which it turned out Kiong was a member of as a former soldier.  It had a huge 25m outdoor climbing wall, really cool!  After the typical jumping through hoops of a climbing gym we were setup to climb.  Unfortunately, Anja and I each got one climb in before it started downpouring only problem we still had the quickdraws up on the wall.

It was ok though because inside this climbing wall structure was a two story bouldering cave so we headed inside.  The cave was really fun and for the first 2 hours (since it kept raining) we had it just to ourselves.

After climbing Kiong took us over to a Japanese restaurant that was pretty good.  I got some tai sashimi and Anja got some sake.

After dinner Kiong took us over to Chinatown which was crazy getting ready for Chinese New Year (CNY).

It is the year of the rabbit so cartoon rabbit figures and pictures were everywhere.
