Nepal-Upper Sansapu Khola (Day 84)

By ANJA:

Depart Camp: 9:30 am          Canyon Start: 12:40 pm

Exit Canyon: 4:30 pm            Back at Camp: 6 pm

With German group: Elke, Michael, Manuel, Railay, Wolfgang, and Sandra.

Started at approximately 9:30 am, waited for several other groups to go (~1hr), ended up getting stuck behind a group of ~6 French and decided to exit at halfway points.  This was a good decision – it was almost dark by the time we returned , so even if the French had not continued this might have been a good stopping point.

Ok the photo is blurry but you don’t really want to see what Railay was wearing for “shorts” but he was carrying a pelican box in his pack.  These waterproof boxes are used to hold the most important things you don’t want to get wet like cell phones or cameras. What did his have in it?  Cigarettes.
