Nepal-Lower Sansapu Khola (Day 85)

FUNNY LOOKS LIKE THIS DIDN'T PUBLISH.  WELL I'LL PUBLISH IT NOW.

Depart camp: 8:30 am        Canyon Start 10:30 am
Exit Canyon:  1:50 pm        Back at Camp: 3 pm
By ANJA: The second half was also very good!  Again it was a pretty nice, easy day (actually easier today) but we were glad we didn’t have to search for anchors in the dark.  They don’t always do a good job with anchor placement here.  Rather than putting 1 set of anchors ~10’ from the edge they will put 1 set ~2-3 feet below (or in an otherwise dangerous spot) and another set 10-20 ft away, encouraging 2 rappels and/or a belay system rather than a single rappel.  Most of these rappels are <30m so 1 anchor set would be fine!

We got down to the end of the canyon and there was one last rappel or a walk around.  I of course day to do it.  Smile
