Anja needed to log a work day and our new friend Urs needed a climbing partner so I headed out to Butterfly Valley with him and left Anja to work.
We started at Center of the Universe on Where the wild things aren't 5.10a.
It was pretty busy so we move to the Upper Mantel for some easy climbing and got on 5 fun.
Urs on Chuyen Nui 5.8.
We then got on Mustache Massage Man 5.10c. We were not very impressed with the Upper Mantel so headed back to Pond Wall to see if any of the 6a’s there were free.
Our friend Tony was up on Windchime of the Ants 5.11c which looked just awesome!
Then we got on Rome to Hanoi Express 5.10a. After we finish this route Tony talked Urs into getting on the 5.11c. Urs got on it and had to hang a couple times but got up it and set it for me to follow. I flailed on it but was one of my favorite climbs of the trip. I was hopeful that Anja would be feeling strong the next day so I could encourage her to try it since I thought she would love it!

I got back and Anja was hard at work in the room.
We went out to dinner at Bamboo and got a bottle of Vietnamese wine which was really good.
