China expectations

We are expecting more travel difficulties in China then we have encountered in any other country.  My plan has been to keep us in Western pockets of Beijing, Xi’an, and Yangshuo.  We plan to see the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden Palace, the Terracotta Warriors, climb Mt Hua Shan, and rock climb in Yangshuo.  One worry is that Beijing is pretty far north and might be rather cold but March is supposed to be a good time to go to Yangshuo.  We’ve heard mixed reviews of Yangshuo; some people saying it is as good as Thailand with even more climb and others saying the Chinese there are just too pushy even relax and enjoy a climb.
