The weather was not great but it looked ok so we headed over to American Fork Canyon about 15 miles from Sandy. It is known for its steep limestone. We headed up to an area called Hard Wall and we found the "easy routes" (5.8-5.10a) to be just that HARD! The guidebook was out of date so figuring out what climb was what was a little tough.
Anja hanging on the roof move of the 5.9.
Anja trying to figure out where the route goes on a 5.10b.
Ken leading up an unknown route we found out to be 5.9 later.
With a little redemption we found the 5.11s to be easy for the grade and Anja cruised up two on top rope easy.
