climbing hold mission

before we could leave LA Anja had to get her climbing holds back from her ex boyfriends house from like 8 years ago. He still had the wall in the backyard and was pretty surprised to see Anja.

Anja got a hair cut

Anja really wanted to get a LA hair cut so she went to super cuts and got it dyed red and blonde highlights

The bed is gone

So we sold our bed and bedroom set on craigslist for $200. This nice woman Katie bought it and brought three guys to carry it out and fill this Uhaul truck. So glad we didn't have to carry that out! We are now much closer to getting on the road!

so this is our LA neighborhood for you. on one side is our beat up and dirty camper van and on the other crazy italian sports car.

Last I-10 drive home

Traffic was light for the drive home Friday and I must say it was the best drive home in LA I've ever had. It's great to say goodbye to this commute. I will not miss sitting here at the 110/I-10 inerchange.

Last Day of Work

It was my last day of work at the Districts it's sad to see the work go and all the great people. September would have been 7 years and I can't wait to go travel. See everyone in a while.

Departure for our trip

So the day of departure is coming quick. Ken's last day of work at the Districts will be July 7 and we plan to depart our apartment on July 10 and head to Boulder with Ram driving the Subaru, Anja driving the Element and Ken driving the van. We'll be in Boulder for about a week and then head off on the road to Devil's Tower and then Jackson to see Anja's brother Lane.
